Some hints...

Well, just a quick couple of hints. The first one is for coupons. I'm a total nerd and will find any excuse to make a spread sheet. I've discovered that I can make a spread sheet of all my coupons and sort by expiration date. And since my grocery list and meal plan are both on spread sheets as well it makes it really easy to cross reference.

The second one has to do with knitting. I'm knitting a pair of socks right now and the only measuring tape I have is a roll up plastic one which is kind of a pain in the ass to unroll and roll a million times to get the right measurement. So I had a flash of brilliance and figured out I could cut a length of scrap yarn to the right length then I only have to get my tape measure out once. It's pretty handy. Especially for socks where you have to do the same things twice.

Wrong title

So I've decided that my blog really has the wrong title. Originally it was right with what I wanted to do, but I've changed it. So now I need to think of a new name. Because now it's more about homemaking, knitting and other crafts and stuff. I'm going to start posting pictures as well. I'm super excited for Friday because that's when I can finally get all my baking pans and stuff that I need to really start baking. I know I'm a nerd since that's not really something that normal people get excited about, but I've never claimed to be normal. :)

Alright well until I actually take my pictures that's all I have for now.

Homemaking???

Well, I've starting becoming quite the homemaker, along with knitting, crocheting and cross stitching( I realize that doesn't really have anything to do with homemaking, it's just what I do) I've now started baking. And doing all the meal planning and looking up new recipes to make every week. I've always loved cooking, it's just before when I was working I didn't have as much time to cook as I wanted to, and then once I was laid off we didn't have the money to do shop properly. So now that I'm not going to work, and we're(by that I mean my hubby) are making good money again, it's time to start being a "proper" wife. So off to bake some cookies I go. :)
